Design is the focus of the uvex 1 x-cite safety shoes - and this is exactly what has now been awarded: The revolutionary models are reddot winner 2025! ‘In search of good design’ is the motto of the renowned Red Dot Design Award, which claims to be one of the largest design competitions in the world. And in its search, the jury once again found what it was looking for at uvex. In the Product Design category, it honours the best products of each year, and the uvex 1 x-cite women's shoes are among them in 2025.

A great success for uvex safety: The safety shoes in the new uvex 1 x-cite product family have been awarded the German Design Award 2025. The jury's reasoning was as follows: "These safety shoes achieve a remarkable balance between style and functionality, seamlessly integrating into various work environments. With their elegant design and high wearer comfort, the uvex 1 x-cite provide added value for the modern workplace, where flexibility and safety are paramount."

No less than two safety shoe models made it onto the winners' podium at the Red Dot Award 2022. With the uvex 3 and the uvex 3 x-flow (model for Australia), both new uvex safety shoes were honored for their first-class design and additional features.The safety shoes impressed the jury with their functionality, robustness and comfort in a sustainable concept.

The uvex 1 G2 safety shoes are winners of the Red Dot Award 2022! The Red Dot Award honors the uvex 1 G2 safety footwear as Red Dot Award Product Design 2020 Winner and in addition won a Red Dot for its good design quality in the new metacategory “Innovative Products” for the combination of the uvex 1 G2 with the uvex i-PUREnrj sole technology.

The uvex 1 business safety shoe range has been awarded with the German Design Award 2020. With winning of this award, the work shoes underline their USP "Highstreet Fashion meets Safety".

The uvex sportsline safety shoe range brings together functionality, comfort and style in a lightweight, sporty and flexible design. This winning combination impressed the jury of the German Design Council, with the 8473 model from the uvex sportsline series beating over 5,000 entries to claim victory as the German Design Award Winner 2018 in the Industry category.

For the fourth time running, an independent specialist jury has attested to the impressive uvex 2 product concept – a concept that is unique to the market for personal protective equipment, sets new standards for safety footwear in line with the slogan "Winners at Work – Pushing the Limits" and covers a whole host of application areas.

The uvex 2 safety shoes range continues to live up to its slogan "Pushing the Limits – Setting New Boundaries" very impressively. The Plus X Award panel of judges awarded the uvex 2 range with the seals of approval for innovation, high quality, design, functionality and ergonomics. This is the third consecutive time that an independent panel of judges has certified the impressive uvex 2 product concept, which is unique on the market for personal protective equipment.
