The innovative head protection solution of the uvex pheos hard hat series is compatible with other uvex personal protective equipment. Eye protection, neck protectors, visors, ear protection or lamps can be integrated to adapt to your specific safety needs.

The uvex pheos hard hats use a six-point textile band attachment and suspension harness with wheel ratchet for a variable width adjustment.

The uvex pheos helmet series always fulfils the highest safety standards. All hard hats fulfil the EN 397 safety norm and additional requirements for very low temperatures (-30 °C), as well as molten metal splash (MM).

Keep a cool head at all times: The climate inside a safety helmet can have a big impact on wearer comfort and compliance. The individually adjustable climazone ventilation ensures optimal ventilation.

Designed to move the way you do with front and back vents that allows air in to cool the head and warm air to escape at the rear. The vents can easily be opened to increase airflow through the helmet and closed to help combat the elements.

The visor can be locked above the helmet shell when not required, while the hearing protection can be folded back. Everything fits closely to the helmet and is perfectly balanced - ensuring maximum comfort and freedom of movement. There is no unnecessary weight to strain the muscles on the neck.

The lightweight uvex pheos planet safety helmet is part of the uvex “protecting planet” range of sustainable products. The shell is made of up to 30% bioplastic (the raw material being sugar cane) and the material for the headband is made from 50% granulated helmet shells which helps reduce process-related waste. The packaging is made of regranulated material and has been taken from the recycling economy while the user instructions are printed on 100% recycled paper. Lightweight and sporty looking, the uvex pheos safety helmet with its six-point suspension harness, comfort padding and wheel ratchet system ensures wearers can quickly and easily achieve a comfortable, secure and stable fit. The adaptive ventilation system moves air front to back creating the perfect airflow throughout the day.

Recycled materials

The helmet shell is made of up to 30% bioplastic. The organic raw material, sugar cane, is converted using a process that complies with the strictest quality requirements and achieves high stability and strength. 50% of the material for the headband is made of helmet shells. This significantly reduces process-related waste during production.

Environmentally friendly packaging

All individual packaging is made of regranulated material and has been taken from the recycling economy. The packaging is single-grade and can be returned to the recycling chain after use. This also saves fossil resources. The user instructions are printed on 100% recycled paper.

Short brim options give greater upward field of vision for jobs that require overhead work. This is particularly beneficial for tasks performed at height, such as scaffolding work, working on elevated platforms, or when operating machinery with high reach. Alternatively, long brim options not only the face and eyes but also the neck and ears from direct sunlight, reducing glare and the risk of sunburn. It also helps to channel rain and snow away from the face, improving visibility in adverse weather conditions.
