It may seem obvious, but correctly sized PPE can help avoid accidents, reduce discomfort and increase productivity. If employees find their PPE uncomfortable to wear chances are they won't wear it. ![uvex knows one size does not fit all](https://d3rbxgeqn1ye9j.cloudfront.net/images/vxzNN1EreSZIyJ-pzVVmVnfYdBr9RZRZ5Bv90INDOcI/w:345/h:190/fn:Y3NtX3NpemUtbWF0dGVycy10cmlvXzhjYTIwNjA4Y2I:t/cb:6495243933835a1ecfe3fb56c69794fc3c2694c6/el:1/fq:jpeg:85:avif:70:webp:80/aHR0cHM6Ly9kM3JieGdlcW4xeWU5ai5jbG91ZGZyb250Lm5ldC9maWxlYWRtaW4vd3d3LnV2ZXgtc2FmZXR5LmNvLnVrL01lZGlhL3NpemUtbWF0dGVycy9zaXplLW1hdHRlcnMtdHJpby5qcGc_MTU4NTY1NjU5Ng "uvex knows one size does not fit all") ### uvex have developed a range of solutions, ensuring something for everyone uvex is committed to the design and production of PPE solutions that can be tailored to individual requirements delivering absolute consistency of protection and performance levels. A correct fit means the gloves will be comfortable to wear and you are more likely to keep them on. If gloves are too big they can affect grip or get caught in moving parts or tools; too small and they will distract from the task at hand. As people come in all sorts of shapes and sizes it is unlikely that one particular type or size of RPE facepiece will fit everyone. RPE can't protect the wearer if it leaks and one of the main reasons for this is poor fit – facemasks need to fit the wearer's face to be effective. Fit testing will ensure that the equipment selected is suitable for the wearer.
