Plus, they’re usually treated as a “one size fits all” solution instead of taking into consideration different face shapes, applications, work environments, and more. For safety managers who are tasked with making sure employees are wearing their safety eyewear when it’s required as well as supplying them with the right pair they need on the job, these factors make it tricky. The wrong safety eyewear can lead to workers avoiding protection when they need it most, and eventually, an injury. To achieve this goal, our uvex safety eyewear offers **maximum wearer comfort**, **100% UV400 protection** and **unique coating technology**. At our main R&D and production facilities in Fürth, Germany, our experts proudly lead in the field of eye protection, from the design of the frame to the development of the right lens coating. ### uvex supravision excellence Fogged, scratched or dirty lenses increase the risk of accidents in everyday working life. uvex has been known for innovative coating technologies for decades. In our competence centre in Fürth, we develop and produce scratch-resistant and anti-fog coatings using our **unique flow coating method** which enables a specific coating to be applied on each side of the lens, allowing the coating to work at it's optimum performance. Other manufacturers use a dipping method that coats both sides of the lens with a mixture of scratch-resistant and anti-fog coatings, diluting the performance of each of the coatings. **uvex supravision excellence** Permanent anti-fog coating on the inside **exceeds the standard requirements four times over** **without anti-fog coating** The lens fogs up on the inside due to the wearer's body heat and breath ![uvex supravision excellence](https://d3rbxgeqn1ye9j.cloudfront.net/images/XHOpj6qRJ5cDT_5o4ybJwkKyWh08A-CFzwpY_mrZbnQ/w:345/h:149/fn:Y3NtX3V2ZXgtc3VwcmF2aXNpb24tZXhjZWxsZW5jZS1sZW5zXzQxZGE0ZGRlMTk:t/cb:62f643bdb0f4f6952f62a7fd64b8c120faca0ccc/el:1/fq:jpeg:85:avif:70:webp:80/aHR0cHM6Ly9kM3JieGdlcW4xeWU5ai5jbG91ZGZyb250Lm5ldC9maWxlYWRtaW4vd3d3LnV2ZXgtc2FmZXR5LmNvLnVrL01lZGlhL2V5ZXdlYXIvdXZleC1zdXByYXZpc2lvbi1leGNlbGxlbmNlLWxlbnMuanBnPzE2OTY0OTgxODM "uvex supravision excellence") [ ![Discover uvex supravision plus](https://d3rbxgeqn1ye9j.cloudfront.net/images/CEMlmzeHn-5W5gyo9wnLTF1nkUg2036v9sYKDpHYZTo/w:345/h:149/fn:Y3NtX3V2ZXgtc3VwcmF2aXNpb24tcGx1cy1sZW5zXzU4YmMzNDYwMDM:t/cb:196ce75676d9eb606e943bf8c8e0009aab6c8294/el:1/fq:jpeg:85:avif:70:webp:80/aHR0cHM6Ly9kM3JieGdlcW4xeWU5ai5jbG91ZGZyb250Lm5ldC9maWxlYWRtaW4vd3d3LnV2ZXgtc2FmZXR5LmNvLnVrL01lZGlhL2V5ZXdlYXIvdXZleC1zdXByYXZpc2lvbi1wbHVzLWxlbnMuanBnPzE2OTY0OTk3MDE "Discover uvex supravision plus") ](https://www.uvex-safety.ie/en/anti-fog-lens-coating-technology/) ### uvex supravision plus Wearing safety eyewear in places with frequent temperature fluctuations or high-humidity environments can cause the lenses to fog up, leading to severe or continuous fogging issues. Chemically engineered to not wash off, **[uvex’s anti-fog coatings](https://www.uvex-safety.ie/en/anti-fog-lens-coating-technology/)** are fundamentally different from others – that’s because all uvex anti-fog coatings are **hydrophilic**, which causes fog moisture to absorb into the lens acting like a sponge, eliminating fog quickly and efficiently. ![Lens tinting solutions](https://d3rbxgeqn1ye9j.cloudfront.net/images/taTuYyaHZFlFIsFVE_HcCobC0N6Av4fIRXVPxUKPSo8/w:375/h:49/fn:Y3NtX2Z1bGwtbGVucy10aW50c19iMDAwYWM4ODEy:t/cb:248cca4d9faca8e97cd6ad2c38d190babef97a9f/el:1/fq:jpeg:85:avif:70:webp:80/aHR0cHM6Ly9kM3JieGdlcW4xeWU5ai5jbG91ZGZyb250Lm5ldC9maWxlYWRtaW4vd3d3LnV2ZXgtc2FmZXR5LmNvLnVrL01lZGlhL2V5ZXdlYXIvZnVsbC1sZW5zLXRpbnRzLmpwZz8xNjQyNzY5MTgy "Lens tinting solutions") ### Finding the right lens tint for every environment The right tint on your lenses can help lessen eye strain, fatigue and can increase clarity of vision.
