Protecting your hearing is essential when working in the wastewater industry, where noise levels in pump and boiler rooms can be in the 100 dB range. If you don't need to wear hearing protection all the time, uvex have corded plug options and helmet-mounted earmuffs that sit neatly on your helmet until required. Remember, noise-induced hearing loss is the most common, permanent & irreversible injury in the world, make sure you are properly protected.
